Is anyone else struggling to make sense of Cynergy Bank's Statements and Certificates Of Interest for closed accounts?

I opened an Online Easy Access account in March when the bonus rate was 0.8%.
Each time they increased the bonus rate, I opened a new account, transferred the balance and closed the old account.
I am now on account number 6.

If you view statements for closed accounts, all you get are figures for the total amount paid in and the the total amount paid out.
There is no date information about when interest was added (or when deposits or payments were made).
In my case there were no additional deposits or payments between opening and closing the accounts so I should just see the interest added when the account is closed.

I have a Excel spreadsheet that keeps track of each account. It contains cells for the opening deposit, interest received and closing balance.
I have been unable to make the spreadsheet tie up with the figures given in the Statements and Certificates Of Interest.

There is something strange about the way they add the interest. It doesn't always appear in the Statement 'total amount paid out' when the account is closed.
Some of the interest added to my latest account seems to have been added in twice.
I can't figure out if there is something wrong with my calculations or if Cynergy's accounting software has an error.
