HiMy fiance and I opened A&L accounts witha view to transfering to them and also for the referral feeAnyway there was a total lack of paperwork sent for changing banks and really rude staff so we left it - foolishly The referral fee of £50 went into my account but not my fiance's. We had been in touch and thought it was sorted. We just didn't check - bearing in mind that no statements are sent out - and only emails of which we didn't have the passwordsThe accounts have never been used - they say 3 cards have been sent to our house yet we haven't received any!!So they were debiting the accounts £5 each for each month £500 wasn't in teh account - fair enough but if my argument was I couldn't then get the money back out.So my account stands at £35 in credit. My partners was £8 OD yesterday - this is now at £173 today!!!!£160 for going overdrawn and £5 per day that we are ODPlease can someone help.Do we have a leg to stand on?ThanksK

Make an appointment to see someone at a branch (both of you).
As you have admitted that you only transferred to get the referral fee don't expect them to fall over backwards to help you.
You have wasted their time and did not adhere to their terms and conditions.0
