Adding more lights for existing lighting job

For others that might be checking in on this thread for their own quotes, I got the price down to £70+VAT. Still expensive in my view but far better than where we started.
For those that are saying it's a lot of extra time per spotlight and that's the justification for the higher cost, it just isn't. I watched them do it and the two extra spotlights had their first-fix done within minutes of the others. Note that they were doing all of this work together. This wasn't a retrofit or changing a job that already been done.
The building company I'm using was simply trying to make a decent margin on the job. Nothing wrong with making a profit, but also nothing wrong with negotiating down on the asking price. Some will chance it with a high price tag hoping you'll just accept it.

Well done OP, you saved over £50 by looking at a quote and negotiating. I don't blame you. You also don't feel ripped off which is worth a few ££ too.
