Price Cap, actual figures, not averages

I seem to have become old enough to remember when it was easy to find out what energy companies would change per unit of electricity and per day for standing charges. Those were the days.....Now I can only find "average" costs, or annualised estimates of costs which makes it impossible to work out whether I might be cheaper trying to switch or not, or pay by DD or not.
My current supplier costs are 53.45p per day Standing Charge plus 27.99 per kW/H (electricity only).
Ok so all energy charges at the moment are eye watering, but this is higher than the "average" as quoted by Ofgem.
Anyone know where I can find the different actual amounts charged by different suppliers anywhere?

You will find them usually on their web site. Takes a bit of searching so.

As long as you don't have E7 so, there is no real difference between the suppliers.

So for most cases the EDF list should be fine

The cost you are quoting does not match any region. Who is your supplier, what region and how do you pay (prepaid, DD, cheque)

supply costs vary by region. Usually available on supplier's websites but you will have to dig & the more that you want to compare, the more work ....
Paying by DD is usually the cheapest.

& then you might struggle to get another company to accept you as a customer at the moment.

    That is still straightforward.

That sounds like a pay-on-receipt-of-bill capped tariff for one of the more expensive regions. South West, perhaps? No, it's Northern Scotland.

I put a cap explainer together a couple of months ago. You''l find it here and linked from my signature. It includes further links to the current tariffs offered by EDF and Octopus.
EDF charge different rates for DD, POROB and PAYG. Octopus charge the same DD prices for all three payment options.

Thanks all. Yes, rural Scotland and no direct debit. (had a very bad experience a few years ago with SSE who wrongly increased my DD, and it took several months to finally get back the substantial excess via the Ombudsman.....)
Anyway, trying to find something a bit less eye watering than for now, even if that means staying put with Ovo.
Quite like the look of Octopus, as they don't charge extra for not paying via DD, but also wary of all the recent energy co failures.
Thank you for the link, will take a good look.
    Cheers all.

Octopus now has energy companies in the USA; Germany; Japan and New Zealand. They all use Octopus’ in house billing platform Kraken - as does Good Energy; E.oN Next and EDF in the UK.  In recent years, Octopus has taken over a renewable energy firm and it has its own R&D Heat pump division. Octopus is also backed by Octopus Investments a multi £Bn fund, and a number of other significant investors (Al Gore?). My guess is that they will be amongst the last few energy suppliers left standing if the energy crisis deepens.
