42 months without noticing you were paying more.
You really need to keep a check on your bank account and payments going out.
I would be interested to know when legislation returned o them not having to contact customers as stated in that ofcom article posted earlier by another forumer .
It seems , albeit for a brief period, BT fell below the expected standard as stated in that article in 2020 in not contacting me regardless if my contract came to an end prior to the 2020 date .
It only applied to contracts that were still within the minimum contract period at the time it came into force.0 -

What does the contract / terms of service you signed up to when you took out the contract say? There is an element of companies relying on consumers to not bother with the small print, but their catch all sadly will be "these were in our terms, you accepted them, tough" (blunt version). Some people like 'the same' even if it costs more. Company business models are built to legitimately exploit this otherwise when your contract ends you find your broadband is suddenly cut-off.May you find your sister soon Helli.

I am afraid I think you’re right …
Frustratingly the deal I now pay £42 a month for instead of the £60 has exactly the same service as received before but just more perks …0
