Ticketmaster cancellation and refund

Bought 4 tickets for The Killers at Old Trafford way back before pandemic, anyhow now 2 of my party are unable to go to rescheduled event. Tickets came through this week , I followed instructions on website to cancel part of my order, stated twice that it was only 2 tickets. They cancelled all 4, after several too and fros with them basically theyve said today to buy again, but my standing have sold out and I cannot afford the vip tickets that are left. Surely this is on their heads as I filled in the correct options under refund part of my order. Any ideas please?

Write to them asking them to supply the two tickets they agreed to supply.  If they can't supply the original tickets they ought to provide the upgraded tickets at the same rate, but I suspect that contractually, having fully refunded you they have met their obligation to you.  Worth a try, but don't get your hopes up.
