No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries June 2022

@Clutterbug07 I think it's because it comes out as quite a thick mist if that makes sense? The LRP one is a fine mist so doesn't clog up my lungs quite so much 😆
And welcome to the thread @Cressida100. Once you make that stash list, you'll know what you have and can make a plan of action on what to use up first. You may also find that there are things that just need throwing (I mean washing out and recycling, but you get the idea) and even stuff that you know you just won't use anymore that you can declutter.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20173 -

I have bookmarked it and will build up to giving it a go. It will be stressful and very time consuming making a list of my stash. I'm going to try. Wish me luck!

Just randomly came across this thread!
I really need to do this and also know that I never could. The not buying stuff part would be easy, I basically use shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste and mouthwash and that is it. HOWEVER, I have SO MUCH other stuff. Either from gifts, stuff I thought I'd use but haven't or just leftovers from things I used once for a special occasion but have not had the desire to use since. I am so low maintenance it's untrue but I have tons of stuff.
I used to have a bad habit of finding a product I liked, buying loads of it and then just stopping using it. I have no idea how long things can survive in a cupboard but I know that the 4x Rimmel Shimmer Instant Tan bottles have been in the drawer at least 16 years! All my makeup (that I still use on the very rare occasions I use makeup) were bought for my wedding, almost 10 years ago. If I joined this challenge and started using everything up, people would think I was either having an early mid life crisis or having an affairMFW - OP 10% each year to clear mortgage in 10 years!

Reporting a couple of outs from the weekend:
- Essence I Love Volume Waterproof Mascara: This is a maybe WBA, loved the volume but it did start flaking towards the end of using it, so would need to be careful with it. Great price though!
- Collection Clear Lash Mascara: Use this to set my brows when I use pencil and have repurchased.
- NYX brow gel: this was a tinted one that was great when it was great but bad most of the time. Started to get very clumpy and just can't work with it anymore
Updated PP List:
Mac Lipgloss
Garnier Micellear water
Cantu body cream
4 sheet masks: 2 done
First Aid Beauty eye cream
NYX brow gel
Honey foot mask
Shea Moisture leave in conditioner
TBS Avocado body butter
Caudalie SPF 50+
I think I can probably get through everything except for the body butter and leave in conditioner by the end of the month, but I'll be happy with that progress if so!
Also reporting a couple of IN's:
- Frank Coffee Body Scrub: Never tried before but was on offer in boots and I needed a new body scrub
- Collection Clear Lash Mascara: replacement as mentioned aboveEmergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20173 -
