Credit rating/mortgage

I’m looking to buy my first home I currently have my savings in a isa but am thinking about opening a chase account to benefit from the interest rate on my savings but will opening a new account with a different bank effect my credit rating and therefore have a negative impact on getting a mortgage?

It'll just show as a new account. Nothing that would concern a lender.

It'll make your credit rating with the CRAs drop, but that doesn't matter.

@debster39 Opening a Chase account only involves a soft-footprint credit check so should have no adverse impact on your credit history.
