I purchased a refurbished golf watch from factory outlet store. The watch is defective. I paid with my credit card. I have requested a refund but the emails I received from the company only mention credit/ Exchange. As the watch is not “fit for purpose“ it is my understanding that I am entitled to a refund even though in their terms and conditions refunds are not mentioned. Am I correct?

It loses the satellite signal & doesn’t “ move on “ to the next hole. Since I emailed them again stating that it was my understanding that as it’s not “ fit for purpose “ I am entitled to a refund, they replied, apologised & said I can return it for a refund, but it’s still cost me £7 to return it. I’ll see if my credit card is refunded 🤞0
