ex-Green to Shell Energy cheque reminder emails
As a former Green customer, I transferred to Shell Energy (SE) last autumn with a credit balance.
Having previously received my credit balance cheque from SE, today I got two emails reminding me to cash it before the 6 month expiry.
One email was correctly addressed to me with my former Green account number.
However, the second email was for a complete stranger with his former Green account number and definitely with no association to me.
Have notified SE about this as I don't know how many other customers have received similar emails with someone else's details.

Oh dear it seems they may have security issues.
I contacted SE via Facebook and they've replied to ask which email address I received it at and they will notify their IT security team. Not very encouraging so far.

I received one addressed to a stranger, but not one in my own name (cheque banked long ago). I have contected them via Twitter, which is how I initially obtained my cheque.
