RingGo vs Brittania Parking

Hello everyone,

I am currently writing my witness statement for a PCN I received. 

Long story short. I payed for parking through the RingGo app.

The app has a map feature so you can see the area you are paying to park within. 

I parked in the car park highlighted. 6 months later BW legal contact me on behalf of there client Britannia parking. I have a PCN.

I had payed for council parking. 

Where do I stand in court having screenshots of the mapped area and proof of receipt? 

I parked in the area displayed to me on the app. 

Yes, there was a sign stating Britannia parking in the car park. However, it was in smaller print and only the car park name was in large print.

But the option I chose on the app had matching codes to that car park, and as stated the mapped area. This was also the only option for this car park. 


I've tried finding similar posts to this but really struggling to find relevant law or people in a similar situation.
