fixed penalty notice?

advice required  again please

i have received  a fpn from police , date of offence, 13/02/2022,  date on fpn letter  26/05/2002

vehicle was parked on double lines , but no lines on kerb.

however , when i spoke to them over phone , they looked at the pictures and said something was visible on the dashboard, but the pictures are not clear.
(which i beleive is their fault.

have written to them as a valid disability blue badge was displayed which is showing on the photos, and i have sent them evidence of this,
but their reply stated the fpn was correctly issued, and gave me option to pay  penalty or magistrates court.

advice needed as to whether its worth going to court , or shall i just cough up and pay the fine.
thanks for looking
Nice to save.

As we major on private parking tickets here, PePiPoo will be your best bet for police tickets. Register there but please note that a hotmail address won't work - try using a throwaway gmail account instead if you do have trouble registering and post a new thread; here's your link:

Have a read through some of the other threads there before you post your own to get the hang of what information they need from you in your opening post - but as a minimum you will need to post redacted photos/scans of all correspondence you've received from the police (both sides, if appropriate) as they need to see all the small print.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
