                    Hi Everyone,
I received a notice to keeper because I entered a car park, stayed there for 12 minutes and got out.
The thing is, I got into the car park just to eat a quick bite, in fact, I stayed there for only 12 minutes and I did not see any signs that access was controlled electronically. The only sign was the one at the entrance which I didn't see when entering as I turned straight after a lorry started moving on the opposite side. I went straight into a parking bay at it did not have any kind of sign saying that I had to pay, the only signs were the one at the entrance.
If I pay by 1st June 2022 it will be discounted to 60£. My question is, if I appeal to Euro Car Parks today and lose, will I still need to pay 60£ as I appealed before 1st June or is that going to become £100?
Thank you
I went back to the place to get some pictures and videos, I'm going to attach them here.
This is the exit. If on my way out I saw the signs I would have paid.

From far away that Pay & Display sign is covered by trees.

I parked next to the fence after the blue car and the whole fence does not have a sign saying I need to pay and because I didn't get out of the car I did not notice the paying machine.

Why would any poster here do that? ECP are unlikely to sue in every case but you won't win at appeal. Just try first appeal as per the NEWBIES thread. It'll be refused but that's not a reason to pay.aansweer said:Shall I pay it?
No, the £60 is not re-offered and even if it was, why pay it for fear of getting a few letters?
The parking industry is rotten and predatory. So bad, the Government is stepping in.
Next time, to eat food, don't drive into any car park; there was no need. You can safely park on street anywhere (except where stopping is outright banned, such as red routes). Stopping is not banned on double or single yellows, nor in bays.
I wish driving instructors would explain to people that, to legally stop when driving, you don't need a car park.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
