TUI - up there with P&O for interpersonal skills

Hi
I have, like many others, beed let down by TUI. after waiting 14 hours in manchester we recieved a text (seems to be the latest fashion) to say the holiday was cancelled.
we have been offered full refund of the holiday plus 350 euro's plus £200 voucher for a future holiday. These are all as compelled to do so are not a gift apart from the voucher. this i will not be using. how they think we would travel with them again i dont know. How do i go about getting out of pocket expenses such as airport parking, lost annual leave etc.
You cannot email TUI with a complaint as they do not advertise an email address. All I could find was the addresses for the most senior people they have in europe David Burling, Sebastian Ebel and Fredrich Joussen. So I have reached out to them.

Martin, what can we do with this compay that do not seem to care about their customers?

Martin doesn't live here any more, but if you don't like how a company does business, don't use them again.

They won't refund you for your airport booking, assuming you booked that separately.

Don't waste time 'reaching out' to the people you've named. Contact TUI directly by phone or via one of their web forms if you need to submit a complaint.

  • Hi ZX81

    thanks for your concise reply

rest assured, i will not be using TUI or First Choice going forward

All I can find are Flight compensation forms. There is no other form of complaint route on their website. If you ring with a complaint, you end up on hold for 40mins then get cut off. Tui shops are not interested as it was a website booking.
