Ready to switch

I have numerous current accounts, mostly with Regular Savers attached, but now that my Regular Saver with HSBC has ended I want to switch. I have already got Santander, Club Lloyds, Halifax, BoS, FD and Natwest.
I used to have a Nationwide account but closed it at least two or more years ago. will I be eligible as a new member?
Or shall I go for RBS? or Club Lloyds?
Anybody spot any drawbacks or ones I have mssed?

Why not do all the switch offers you are entitled to?

So open an additional account with Halifax/BoS/Lloyds to use as a donor.
They are all near instant when you already have an account with them.

I have a donor account ready, with 2 DDs, with HSBC.
Can anyone tell me if as a previous customer, I am eligible for the Nationwide offer?

Note the word 'additional'... to use for ALL the offers you're entitled to.

Read through the terms for the offer(s) you are interested in as they will clearly explain what you need to do. The answer your question about Nationwide, yes you can qualify the the offer if you have previously held an account with them - you just can't have taken advantage of the current switch offer before.

You get a bigger payout as an "existing" Nationwide customer however, but it's easy to work around that if you don't currently hold an account with them. Simply open a qualifying current account and then wait until the day after the account is open before initiating the switch to get the higher payment.

Thanks. I read in Nationwide T & C that you can't have this offer if you have had a switching offer with them previously, which I think I have, many years ago.

The terms say you can only have 'this' offer once. 'This' offer wasn't the one you had many years ago, it's a new one.
