Not sure how that works in practice - I suggest a visit to the nearest branch for a face to face appointment.Good luck.As I said, I'm not familiar with the specifics in this situation.I thought only the main cardholder could manage a credit card ?Everyday is a learning day !!!

But anyone can call in and cancel a card if lost/found. It will not be reissued till main card holders asks.
At one point you used to get cash for finding a card & telling banks. That stopped a good while ago. As it was found some crafty people held on to cards & hoped customer would not notice 😂Life in the slow lane0 -

Well as far as we go it's OK.
Used to be a problem when both cards had the same number. But that was changed years ago.Life in the slow lane0 -
Just a thought - did having the same number mean that the credit card company couldn't identify if the principal card holder or additional holder made a transaction ?

When my husband dies American Express cancelled the card which included me as an additional card holder
I was the main card holder with him as the additional card holder on our other credit card and only his additional holder card was cancelled.
