Hi,
Was wondering if someone could help me please. I am looking to buy a new shed but not sure what the difference is between these two.

I can see the price difference but not sure about the wood as they both look the same.
One say's:
Pre treated overlap style shed with solid sheet floor and roof that comes with charcoal colour roof felt. Double doors with butterfly catch.
The other:
Pre treated tongue and groove shiplap cladded shed with pad bolted double doors. Solid sheet floor and roof with charcoal colour roofing felt supplied.
Which one would be the strongest out of the two
Thanks for looking.

The first one uses overlap timber, which is usually plain, rough cut timber.
The second uses shiplap, which is planed and shaped timber.
The second one would be my choice, it is a far better finish, and easier to coat with additional preservative.0 -
Hiya,
Having both types of shed, I'd say go for the tongue and groove, it's not only nicer but it's a much more secure and easier to secure type of shed.
My overlap shed was broken into and they practically removed the whole front of the shed to get in it. I say they it was a smack head, who stole a car jack and a packet of snow drop bulbs:mad:
, then told the police when caught that he had dropped his watch in my garden and could I look for it. We did find it months later, and did hand it into the police. Not sure what happened to it though.
Anyway go for the second one, it's easier to treat with your chosen whatdoyoucallit stuff too, and it's smoother and less gutsy on the same stuff when doing the treating.
Hope the last paragraph makes sense to you.0 -

If you're anywhere near Milton Keynes, we're about to put our old one on Freecycle.
It's not as big as you're looking at, but if you want to pm me, I'll let you have details.
Or anyone else that might like it!
