Hargreaves Lansdown active savings

Good afternoon.
I’m new to using a ‘savings marketplace’.
I have requested to open a 9 month fix with Charter Savings Bank.
I’ve funded my ‘cash hub’ with £1 and put a nominal £1 to open the account as my understanding is that it won’t start earning interest until 08/06/2022. My intention is to save £20,000 in the account. That’s circa 9 days without interest if that amount is held in the ‘cash hub’, so I’m planning on putting the rest in and topping up the 9 month fix account to £20,000 closer to 08/06/2022.

Does anybody know (particularly those who have used Hargreaves Lansdown active savings) will I be able to do that please?

Yes you can however there is no guarantee that account will still be available by then.
They usually are however if they prove popular then HL can and have pulled them from sale before the listed closing date.
Using HL active savings, or I imagine any other savings platform such as Rasin or Flagstone, will always lead to days where money is not earning interest.0 -
So you might miss out for the sake of trying to gain £10. Just put your £20K in and have done with it !1
