Hi Everyone ,
Please can someone help me with this fault on the Worcester Bosch Style 8000 Combi Boiler
Fault 228:
To unlock Hold up and down arrow keys are pressed.
I pressed the up and down arrow keys and the hot water was back again
The last time it happened approx 2 months ago.
Any idea what that fault means and what can be done to avoid this again.
Thanks in advance

Flame signal without flame present – air/gas ratio control valve or ionisation cable may need replacing No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I'm pretty sure you can phone, email or even 'chat' with W-B - keep a note of what was said.Even if it's something user-sortable, you will have 'logged' the issue with them whilst it's still under warranty, just in case it develops into a bigger issue when the warranty runs out :-)0
