  1. Eligibility: This promotion is open to residents of the UK aged 18 years or over at the date of entry, excluding employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, associated agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
  2. Promotion Period: Enter between 00:00 on 19 May 2022 and 23:59 on 17 July 2022.
  3. No purchase necessary.
  4. Entry instructions:
    1. To enter online, go to www.extragum.co.uk (the “Website”) or scan the QR code shown on the promotional Extra Fruity Gum in-store materials found in participating UK retail stores and register and vote for your favourite flavour of Extra Fruity Gum. Online entrants will then see a “win” or “no win” message on screen.
    2. To enter via SMS, text VOTE and “Apple”, “Blueberry”, “Strawberry”, “Tropical”, “Melon Mint” or “Bubblemint” to 60163. Text entrants will receive back a “win” or “no win” message via SMS.
  5. Entry is via the internet or via SMS. SMS entrants must seek bill payer’s permission.
  6. Only one entry per person per day will be accepted. Anyone entering more frequently will be disqualified.
  7. Prizes: The prizes to be won are as follows:
    1. There are 1,000 x a year’s supply of Extra Fruity Gum to be won. Each prize consists of 175 or more packs of the winner’s favourite flavour of Extra Fruity Gum as determined by the vote they made at time of entry. Gum flavours are subject to availability at time of prize win and winners may not always receive their favourite flavour. Prizes are as stated, are non-transferable and no cash alternatives are available.
  8. Winner Selection: The prizes specified in Paragraph 7 of these Terms are guaranteed to be won (except if the number of prizes available exceeds the total number of valid entries received). All prizes are pre-allocated via an open winning moments algorithm created by an independent third party. If your time of valid entry is the first to fall on or after a winning moment, you win be awarded a prize. If two entries are received at the same time, the entry processed by the server first will be the winning entry. Any prizes not won before the next winning moment will remain available until the next entry. The entrant’s flavour vote is not linked to prize outcome in any way.
  9. Winner Notification: The 1,000 winners will be notified instantly on screen or via SMS (for text entrants). Online winners will then be invited to provide their name and address via a form on the Website to receive the prize. SMS winners will receive a unique claim link by SMS that will take them to a form on the Website to provide their name and address to receive their prize. If a winner consents, their name, address and contact details will be shared with the Promoter’s agent for administration of the prize. In the event a winner does not respond to a win notification within 14 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner from all remaining entries, with the originally selected winner forfeiting their right to the prize.
  10. Prize fulfilment: prize winners will receive their prize via a signed for service within 28 days of providing their name and address.
  11. No correspondence: Winner selection is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into, except with the prize winners.
  12. Bulk entries, entrants using multiple addresses, email addresses, numbers or via agents, third parties, organised groups or those automatically generated by computer will not be accepted but may still be charged. Entries received by any means other than as specified in these Terms will be rejected. Any person persistently trying to circumvent the entry process will be disqualified immediately.
  13. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility in the event a winner is not able to take their prize for whatever reason, including in the event that a winner provides incorrect address or due to postal delays or loss by the postal service.
  14. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its agents will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate entrants for any losses that may be incurred as a result of entering the Promotion and the Promoter does not accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of a winner’s acceptance of a prize except where such damage or loss is caused by the negligence of the Promoter or its agents. The winner’s statutory rights are not affected.
  15. Use of Personal Data: Personal data provided will be used for the purposes of administering the promotion only. Please see Promotor’s Privacy Policy at https://www.mars.com/privacy. The name, address and contact details the winners will be retained for 30 days after the prize has been fulfilled to allow the Promoter to deal with any queries from the winner. Surname and/or county details may be retained and made available to members of the public in accordance with Paragraph 16. The winner can request for their personal data including phone number and address details to be deleted before the expiry of this period by emailing Vote@promotioncustomerservices.com although the Promoter cannot be held responsible if such request means that it is unable to complete delivery of the winner's prize or assist them following deletion of their contact details.
  16. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award of the prizes took place and therefore will publish or make available winners’ surnames and/or counties to members of the public who request such details from 1 August 2022 to 31 August 2022 by emailing vote@promotioncustomerservices.com. Entrants can object to such disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by email vote@promotioncustomerservices.com. However, the Promoter may, notwithstanding any objection, disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
  17. General: The Promoter cannot be held responsible for the failure of any third party to fulfil its obligations in connection with this promotion, although the Promoter will endeavour to minimise the effect of such failure on the entrants.
  18. The Promoter is not responsible for any entries which fail to be registered or are delayed for any technical or other reason whatsoever.   The Promoter cannot be held responsible if the winner does not receive their prize as a result of having provided incomplete or inaccurate address details.
  19. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the winning entries including asking for the winner's identity, including proof of age,  (which they must provide within 14 days but which will not be retained following verification by the Promoter and redemption of the prize) and to refuse to award the prize or withdraw the prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of the entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions, and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to this clause.
  20. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to suspend the promotion, replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value, or amend these terms and conditions, at any stage, with no liability to any entrants or third parties, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
  21. This promotion and these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties to any dispute or action shall submit to the jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
  22. Entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions by participating in this promotion.

    I've been having trouble entering for the last few days. I keep getting
    ERROR The CSRF token is invalid. Please try to resubmit the form.

    I keep trying then occasionally get that my email address has already entered for that day.

    @Ms_Dee. Me too. I assume when i get the message about the email having been used that one of my attempts has been successful. 
    It's just worked for me today though. Apple is in the lead with a wopping 37%
