Cst law demand for £2710 - please help!

Sorry if this is posted incorrectly, but I’m new! I received this demand for unpaid debt from cst law on behalf of National Car Parks. I don’t have any unpaid PCN even close to this fee!

The only charges I have are from 2018, where I had a maximum of 3 pcns (£30 each) in a hospital staff car park. These were in my own staff car park in the hospital that I work in and I felt they were unfair. I appealed the pcns which were rejected, then had a couple of months of DRP demands for payment, then nothing for 3 years.

I sold the vehicle a long time ago, so don’t even know if this charge is anything to do with me. I’ve never had any contact with ncp (initial charges were from empark)

im not sure what to do as I don’t know what these charges are even for! Please help!!

That is a debt crawlers letter that that you should file away and ignore. Wait until you actually get a Letter Before Claim which needs a response within 30 days as that is a prelude to them submitting a claim to the court which you can defend.

In the meantime read the Newbies so you are prepared for what may come later.

It might be useful to submit a SAR to the PPC claiming this extortionate amount to find out what exactly they relate to.

If they indeed relate to your staff Car Park complain to the management team to get them cancelled explaining why they were unfair. You haven't told us why.
  • Thanks, it was a long time ago, but two of the charges were due to not having daily scratch cards as the Hosptial took 7 days to issue them to staff members. The third charge was after a night shift, and i got delayed coming to my car as I was looking after a sick patient. I’ll speak to the management to see if the eye can cancel them in the meantime

Empark UK changed their name to National Car Parks (EUK) Ltd on 8th February 2019.

You should be complaining to the hospital facilities manager/your manager and escalating it, and insisting the hospital cancel these aggressive parking charges immediately.

You will know from other CST Law threads what to do with that letter though...
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

CST LAW are talking more rubbish than a rubbish bin.  This letter must be sent to the SRA ... The Solicitors Regulation Authority

IT IS A COMPLETE LIE AND MISLEADING.

WHY ? because DRP who they say have instructed them adding FAKE AMOUNTS cannot instruct them for parking tickets

DRP are simpleton debt collectors  who lie through their teeth and are known money scammers.  DRP cannot instruct CST LAW

No surprise that both these companies are members of the BPA ???  HAVING SUCH MEMBERS the BPA are driving standards down

YOU DO NOT OWE £2710 ...    it is a complete scam.

A SAR to National Car Parks will reveal ALL and you must do this now

Rest asurred that CST LAW are living in the clouds

Have they itemised the actual ticket dates, location and amounts?

Id send a SAR to Debt Recovery Plus - see what they come up with. A link to a template is in the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

This is getting so stupid so I agree a SAR to DRP to see what rubbish DRP come back with .... DRP are full of verbal Diarrhea at the best of times and CST Law are following in their footsteps
