Mojang to Microsoft migration re: Minecraft

Afternoon, bit of back story...
On October 17th 2020, I purchased my daughter a Minecraft Java Edition license for her birthday, to use on her Linux desktop.
For the next 1+ years, she has played with aforementioned account non-stop with ZERO problems
Jump forward to February of this year, and post TWO failed Mojang to Microsoft migrations - she has been locked out of her account for 3+ months.
Emails, tweets and support calls/FAQs have failed to resolve the problem - to the point, I can no longer single handedly try and keep on top of resolving this; as it is I managed to get a 2nd migration out of Mojang.
My point to Mojang, as MS fail to support/close all calls quickly - is that they failed to provide a continuation of service, and as such - I would like a refund, such that I can just talk to Microsoft sales - as I feel sure that would get solved so much quicker!
Mojang advise at: their Mojang-refunds-policy page:
Any advice or help on this re: US refund rights would be much appreciated.
Many thanks

Mojang advise at: their Mojang-refunds-policy page:
"Refunds are available if you contact Minecraft Support within 15 days of purchase and if:
- You made a duplicate purchase.
- A purchase was made without your permission.
- You're unable to play your game after visiting minecraft.net troubleshooting sections for your version of Minecraft."
Any advice or help on this re: US refund rights would be much appreciated.

They are right. Clearly it is 15 days from purchase.
Don't think you will get anywhere with a refund.
Is she still using Linux?
