Smart Parking LTD / CST Law Parking Ticket

Hello again! first thank you for the help from the past!
So first was unsure whether to start a new thread or just continue in this old one since its the same matter but slightly different now.
Apologies if I've missed the information about this specific issue.
As you can see by the date of my first post this has been a minute.
So 2-3 years ago after I received a 'Letter Before Claim' from cstlaw on behalf of Smart parking, I sent a reply to the Smart Parking's and Cstlaw's claim and they basically went radio silence. (I do have the e-mail I sent and I can post it here if it would help).
Now several years later I have now been getting letters from a different firm called dcblegal which I have notice littered around the forum also.
So far I've not replied to any as they where going to my elderly mother and only found them recently but I have just received a 'Letter of Claim' which I Understand is still not the final one they must send and If I'm correct should ignore this one too or not in this case?
I'm a bit unsure what to do at this stage other then wait, but because of this situation involving the gap of communication and change of legal company is there any other option I could take to try and get them to stop sending me letters now?
I have also noticed that the original letters have a different address to the one now so should I do anything about this as I've seen post about claims being sent to other addresses and I'm unsure if they have that address still on there system?
To clarify on the original ticket I was sure it was paid but think a keying error was made (have no ticket though) to which I requested this information and was told: ''Unfortunately, as Data Protection Officer I can only provide you with evidence that is your details and cannot make any assumptions to what may or may not be your data.''
Thank you for your time and any help would be greatly appreciated!0 -
Your case will now go to a Claim Form which is easy to defend and DCB Legal will discontinue in 2026.
You need to read:
- Post 2 of the NEWBIES thread
- any Smart Parking claim threads
- e.g. this one:

The fact it was with CST Law is irrelevant.
And: FIGHTBACK ALERT:Please do the government's Public Consultation. We need every poster to complete this vital survey before the deadline.
See this thread:
We understand that you may need some pointers. It looks laborious, we get that. It doesn't matter; no knowledge is needed except re your own experiences so you can call out a scam industry and you'll protect millions of motorists and help change the law.
I've written some guidance to help focus new posters on the issues. I've covered almost every question, providing ideas if you agree with our stance on things like DRFs, which we say must be banned.
Ordinary people like you are falling victim to this scam 15 million times per annum. Motorists need your voice added please.
CLOSES ON FRIDAY 26th SEPTEMBER.
