You will only get the £400 if you have a metred electricity supply, I'm afraid. The landlord should really pass it on to everyone he supplies.0

The marina is a business, and will not be on a domestic account so there is no £400 for the marina owner either.£400 is payable to each household with a domestic electricity meter.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

On 1st of April they were considering situations where a third party pays the billsI cannot find any updated information on this issue.
8. If I live in a park home, will I get the £200? Or if I pay for energy in my rent, how do I make sure my landlord passes on the reduction?
We recognise that there are certain situations where a third party will be responsible for the bill (and be named on it). In these situations, any charges are then passed onto the end user, typically through all-inclusive rent (landlord or tenant) or ‘pitch’ charges (for example park homes).
We will explore this issue as we continue to develop the policy and we will be gathering more evidence as part of our consultation.

Have you looked in the "Too Difficult" bin ?
It is going to be very difficult to identify those with a secondary metered domestic supply.

Very true.
Just that they were recognising the issue does not mean that they are going to do anything about it. On the other side very hard to just ignore this once you have acknowledged the problem.
But there will be always pain, what about somebody who earns 1£ to much to receive benefit. He suddenly will be £649 worse off by not receiving the £650 grant.
