Does anyone know why if my energy supplier is green, especially my electricity which is 100% green, is so affected by wholesale energy prices. If electricity is from wind why have these costs gone up?
Thank you

Because green is pretty much a sham, your electricity will still created by gas to a certain percentage.

It all goes in to the same grid. There is no way to make sure you get "green" electricity and your neighbor doesn't. Also, it's all sold at the wholesale cost no matter how it was generated0
