Is this address still used by HSBC? (follow-up to closed message)

Hi,

I am responding to a former message found at https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6050461/is-this-address-still-used-by-hsbc.

Oddly HSBC in their branch list only list the following branches for Sheffield:

Sheffield, Crystal Peaks - Digital Service Branch
Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre, South Yorkshire, S20 7PH, Sheffield

Sheffield, Meadowhall - Digital Service Branch
37 High Street, South Yorkshire, S9 1EN, Sheffield

Sheffield, City - Full Service Branch
Unit 3 Carmel House, South Yorkshire, S1 2HD, Sheffield

but when you click on the > to get more information, it is "Page not found" for all three of them.

I did find the "Grosvenor House, 1 Wellington St" address elsewhere on the web including on openstreetmap.org where indeed the "Griffin House  41 Silver Street Head" address shows no HSBC (which of course wouldn't be reliable but is an indication).

Two years ago I was given the "Griffin House 41 Silver Street Head" address to write to to ask for historic records to be preserved.

Full address I was given was
ROI Fulfillment Team (ROI seems to stand for "Release of information")
HSBC Global Services
Griffin House GH101
41 Silver Street Head
Sheffield S1 3GG.

So my question (finally :-): Does anyone know if the "Grosvenor House, 1 Wellington St" address would now house the ROI Fulfillment Team?

You would send a DSAR now, the HSBC address for their information unit is

GROUP DATA PROTECTION MANAGER
HSBC BANK PLC
8 Canada Square,
London E14 5HQ.

However, their privacy terms, which I am quoting from their site:

Hi, many thanks for both replies.

The issue is I am not trying to access my own personal data but account statements from my late father in a potential inheritance fraud case hence I suppose my being pointed to the ROI fulfillment team.

If you have probate or power of attorney etc then you can request the data but you'll need to send them proof you have entitlement to the paperwork

In one place on the internet, I found what looks like a working email address for the otherwise elusive "ROI Fulfillment Team": roi.poc.fulfilment@hsbc.com
I have written to this address to enquire about the proper postal address to write to since I need to make sure I get it absolutely right. I will send by registered mail and possibly with overnight courier from abroad in an effort to keep a deadline (I can't call them - background story too complex to detail here)...

I'm at the stage where I need to send a DSAR request to HSBC. Finding the right address seems to be so difficult. This is what I found on the Information Commissioner's Office in HSBC's ICO registration certificate which is valid till the end of September 2022.
