Confused 😕 revolut travel abroad.

Hi all, hoping someone can give some advice. I'm travelling to Europe soon and intend to use my revolut card. I was under the impression that I can only withdraw upto £200 but can use my card to make terminal or contactless payments in upto 30 currencies, with a limit of upto £1k. Now just looking at my revolut account, can see they have crossed off the option for unlimited fx, for the standard account. Been looking online but can't seem to find out what exactly this means? And will this affect me, please see attachment.

I don't know about Revolut as I no longer use them but if you want a good debit card for travelling, you could consider Chase UK and/or Starling Bank. Both are proper banks (Revolut isn't a bank in the UK), neither do a hard search when you apply, and you get the card very quickly. Another good card for travelling is the Halifax Clarity credit card though this is a little more difficult to get.

Whatever you end up doing, don't travel with only one method of payment.

Those categories crossed out are not included in the standard plan, in which currency exchange (FX) is limited to £1000/mth without fees. That includes converting between different currencies in the app, and the conversion that's involved when withdrawing from an ATM in a currency that you don't already hold. It doesn't refer to card use for any payments.

That's a strange statement, seen as a definition, but after figuring out what you mean I've edited my post.

Hi all and thanks for your support. So this means with the standard plan, I am unable to withdraw money at cash machines in Europe, say I want to withdraw the czech currency, this would result in a charge?. However if I use my revolut card to pay for contactless payments upto 1k its free?
