Child benefit - only 1 weeks payment?

For our two children under 16 we get £145 paid every four weeks. I've just seen in my banking app that the upcoming child benefit payment for next month, due in a few days, is only going to be for a single week, £36.25. I can see all my child benefit payments in my banking app going back quite far and they've always been a 4 weekly payment so it seems strange that only a weeks payment would be made now.
I've checked on the gov website and it doesn't mention that payments have changed to weekly so i'm just wondering if anyone knows why this might be the case?
Thanks

I'm not aware of them being weekly payments now. My daughter continues to receive hers 4 weekly.

I've seen a few people on Facebook say the same has happened to them
The consensus is all these extra Bank Holidays have messed up the payments.
It should revert back to normal after next week.0 -
Does it normally get paid on a Monday ?See here:
If your payment is due on Monday 30 May 2022
You’ll get your payment, or part of it, early.
If you normally get Child Benefit every 4 weeks on a Monday
You’ll get one week’s worth of payment on Friday 27 May, and the remaining 3 weeks’ worth of payment on Monday 30 May.

We normally get it on a Tuesday but my banking app says i'll get the £36.25 payment in four days, on Monday. I'm guessing it must be related to this though, i'll see how it pans out for the rest of the month, hopefully i'll get the further 3 weeks payments by then. Thanks everyone.1 -
£36.25 child benefit is showing in my account too. I obviously can't be trusted to have the whole 4 weeks payment a few days early as I might do something reckless like waste it on washing powder, energy bills or kids shoes..1

Perhaps it's because payments were early due to the May bank holiday? I get paid on Mondays but was paid on 29th April as Monday, 2nd May was a bank holiday. Perhaps they thought that the period between 29th April and 30th May was too long, hence the single week's payment today with the remainder on Monday? There must be some logic in there somewhere . . .0

I've just spoken with HMRC - this is a one week payment due to the bank holidays coming up - the rest will be paid next week. I said that they will have a lot of calls about this today!0
