Is Data safe with Home Insurance quotes

Probably being a bit paranoid but when entering your data on comparison/ 6 million insurance websites is your data safe cos your entering data on your locks and alarms contents etc????

And what do you think anyone would do with that data? A 10 second walk past the average house will tell you if they have window locks, multipoint locking system etc.1

not sure about insurances (hopefully they're OK) but i would never buy home safes online or with a card as they'll know there is something precious there!0

Why not with a card?
