Two electricity meters

I wondered about this. At the moment the two electricity meters and my one gas meter are all on the same Sainsbury's v18 2 year fixed account. So I will get the (now) 400 payment to my account.pochase said:I think the chance for no standing charge tariffs will be zero for the next years. Starting in April the standing charge for electricity will be increased again by 11p for the next 5 years to pay back the £200 loan/no loan in October.
Anybody have a idea if the @gj373 will qualify for this for the second meter?
If I moved one electricity meter to another company would I get 200 credited from the government later this year to that account?
No intention of doing that as dealing with this second meter at my address is always a nightmare and I don't want to risk in any way losing my current fixed deal which is a steal compared current prices and fixed till sep 2023 but it does highlight potential inconsistencies in the government plan0 -
I think with the new announcement happening at the moment the £200 loan/not loan will be withdrawn now anyway.0

It's now a £400 grant - I assume £200 for gas and £200 for electricity. If I had another account with a different company with just my second electricity meter would I get another £200?pochase said:I think with the new announcement happening at the moment the £200 loan/not loan will be withdrawn now anyway.0 -
It will not be 200/200 but £400 for electricity, otherwise it would be a bit unfair.gj373 said:

Regarding the second account, they seem to be talking about per household, so most likely no. Happy to be proven wrong here.0 -
Just wondering how they would administer that is it was per household. If I have one electricity account with eon and one with npower who decides what account gets the credit. On some suppliers systems I have two addresses 1 and 1a but it's only one house on one plot of land registered with land registry. That could be interpreted as two households.pochase said:

I guess there will be so few cases like this that it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things0
