The moment your friend pays in their opening balance.1

Instant when I/we did it (although it was a week old retrospective one)
Think the other person actually has to put money into the account first1 -
I got it after a few minutes of my friend signing up. She said it took a while for the £30 transfer she made to show in the app, and the £20 payout was also a bit slow. I think they're system cannot handle the 500,000 customers they've got, yet.1

I'm sure they know a thing or two about banking systems having over 90 million accounts in the US.Maple08 said:I think they're system cannot handle the 500,000 customers they've got, yet.1 -
I signed up via a referral code on May 28th, finally got my account set up this week and transferred £20 into my account. There's still no sign of the £20 referral bonus, 48 hours later - any similar experiences? Do I need to contact them?

Have you double checked the rewards balance? The £20 doesn’t go straight into your current account, but into the rewards balance which you can then transfer it to your account.0

Have you clicked on rewards then clicked on active rewards and what's it say in there?glensmen said:mab3000 said:Have you double checked the rewards balance? The £20 doesn’t go straight into your current account, but into the rewards balance which you can then transfer it to your account.
Yes, thanks - nothing there I'm afraid. £0 balance & £0 pending.0 -

Rewards -> Active offers? Under that it just lists the 1% cashback offer.
