Armtrac parking charge notice

Evening all.

Received a charge park notice at sennen cove in Cornwall.

I did pay for parking however the ticket fell off the windscreen and landed on the dash board upside down. The ticket was due to expire at 1500pm and I sent the appeal with a photo of the ticket at around 1445pm to prove I was back at my car before the time expired.

I have just had the below response and hoping for advice as I have seen so many mixed answers on the web.

Many thanks

I guess this thread got moved here now.

There are no mixed answers here and HUNDREDS of Armtrac fluttering ticket cases for you to read.

Basically the IAS is deemed by anyone with a moral 'fairness and transparency' compass as (allegedly) a kangaroo court.  They boast in their annual report of only allowing FOUR PER CENT of appeals heard.

This is why the Govt has stepped in to replace the self-serving appeals mess and failed self-regulation.  Happening by the end of 2023.

So, in your case there is no further appeal worth trying but it's unlikely to just go away.  No paying it for an easy life!  Nope; just keep all your evidence including the paid ticket receipt and fight them in court, later, if they file a small claim.

Read some threads then read some more and also read the NEWBIES thread and you will see we do this all the time and we win. Armtrac do sometimes sue people but it's perfectly defendable.  IMHO, Armtrac do the fluttering ticket thing for fun, it seems - you'll learn when you read more fluttering ticket threads about their little game with flimsy paper receipts.  They rinse people and they don't cancel on 'appeal'; it's just a farce.

There is no risk of huge costs or a CCJ as long as you don't ignoe a court claim and DON'T move address without telling them (for the mext 6 years).  That's it.  Get reading!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I would keep in mind: -
    1.  If the parking company wanted the ticket to be affixed to the windscreen and stay there, the ticket adhesive should be "fit for purpose" and that is down to the PPC, either a self-inflicted wound or contributory negligence and frustration of contract.
    2.  If the PPC, having realised the adhesive was useless, wanted the ticket to be seen and read by a patrol person, they could have printed the serial number on the reverse.
