Masking tape recommendations

Frog tape, you can pick up for about £4.50 if you shop around. I find it sticks better than cheap masking tape but I use both as needed. If masking around sockets etc and the paint has dried, try using a Stanley knife gently around the edges, it won't pull any paint off this way.

I've never been able to master freehand so I use the stuff everywhere.

I use the cheap car boot 10 rolls for a pound stuff where it's not critical such as wall to ceiling and frog tape where a crisp sharp edge is needed such as on window frames around glass.

Just used frog tape for the first time this weekend, and it definitely worked better than the cheap masking tape i've previously used. No bleed and lines were a lot crisper. That said, I did leave some of it on longer as i did a few coats, and that did pull a few bits of paint off near the skirting board!
