Is this a fair quote for fitting a 5 bar gate?

I've been quoted £325 to hang a field gate (already purchased) across my drive using existing posts and fittings and dispose of the old gate. This sounds a bit pricey to me, but I've never had a gate fitted before. Does anyone know if this is a fair price?

Depends on size of the gate, if 2 men are required, plus cost of disposal. Cheaper to ask them to chop it up and take it to the tip yourself1

one man or two . still a days pay and will not probably do anything else that day . If its done well and properly then its ok . saying pay peanuts get monkeys

Silly price.
Should take one man about an hour.
That would probably include fag / coffee / mobile phone breaks.
