Foundations: are these enough to build above single extension?

I am considering a house which has a single story extension. I'd like to build above. This is what the vendor has sent from the original plans. I'm awaiting the builder to get back to me but in the meanwhile does anyone know if this is deep enough on the foundations for a 2 storey extension? Thanks 😁.

It's not the depth that is important. But if the stated bearing capacity was met, then you should be fine to add another floor of normal size and construction.

It's not the end of the world if the foundations have to be beefed up for another floor.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

Thanks, budget is tight so we need it to be workable. That's helpful! Hopefully builder will be able to give us the quote now.

I know it was a long time ago but we had a £45,000 extension over the garage and underpinning only added £1,500 to the bill.

It's Building Control you need to check with. If that's a recent extension the chances are that the foundations will be OK.
