Am I correct in thinking that the EDF Fix May 24v3 is still better than yesterday's announcement re 1st July 2023 capped prices? If so, I assume I don't have to think about terminating my contract for another 3 months.
You have joined a very old thread  When did the fix start and what are you paying

There is talk of a more competitive market in July 2023

Personally I have a 3 year Electric fix which runs to Sept 2024.  I 'm going to make the most of the 19.08p I'm paying
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

I am on that fix in Southern Scotland.

The July prices for my region show a considerable increase in the electricity SC 49.65 to 61.67 and a small increase in the gas SC 27.22 to 29.11

Electricity unit rate falls from 33.76 to 29.67

Gas falls from 9.7 to 7.46

On my personal usage it means I will pay £13 a month more from July until the end of May 2024.

However staying is cheaper than paying the exit fees.

I am hoping that EDF may allow us to move penalty free to the deemed tariff.
