I have no clue whether to fix or not. Pre April 2022 was paying £117 per month. After April 2022 british gas reduced my payments to £86 ( seems odd, we both work from home ) with the price cap increasing again I've seen I can fix for £147 a mo th until May 2023

Don't think you can fix for £ per month just price per Kwh.0

You need accurate info before you can make a judgement.
Are there a lot of estimated readings on your bills - look for the letter E - if so BG will be guessing. Read your meters today and look back about 12 months and find bills with the letters A C S or words like cust read, our read,
You do read your meters monthly don't you ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
