Until the most recent two updates I had no issue using the app on 4G, now it refuses to open. The symbol appears but the Chase logo doesn't appear and the app stays closed until I switch on WiFi.
I have to be on WiFi which means basically I need to be at home. Is anyone else having this issue? My connection is 90MB down and 20MB up using Plusnet 4G. It's an iPhone 12 Pro running the latest iOS and the app is yesterdays version, which I have also removed and reinstalled from the App Store.
I also tried my wife's 11Pro, connected through my personal hotspot and that worked fine (basically her WiFi connected through my 4G).
It works fine if she is on 4G (Vodafone)
I've tried switching off all of my ip hiding functions on the iPhone just in case. Still no joy.
Chase are taking days to answer and their helpful message reply was to 'make sure you have a good 4G connection, thanks for joining Chase and if we can help you with anything else blah blah blah...'

FWIW, I'm also on 4G PlusNet (who use EE) and can open the Android Chase app without any issues, so this could be an issue specifically with the iPhone app. I take it you can access other apps/sites OK via your 4G connection ?

Thanks, yes my First Direct and Starling apps open without issue on 4G. Their support message took two days and I’ve been waiting for their call-back for 45minutes now

No problems here connecting on 4G (am with EE). May be your Chase app got corrupted - have you tried re-installing it?

Is your iphone unlocked as you could try your wifes Voda sim in your phone and see if that works?

Another option is maybe to try and reset your iphones network settings. I just moved from Three to SMARTY (part of Three) and had some bizarre issue with imessage using my temp number. Tried a load of stuff and resetting network settings was what fixed it (on an iPhone 12 Pro):

Settings -> General -> Transfer or Reset iPhone -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings

Thanks for all your help everyone. Much appreciated.
I must confess I feel a bit silly now. I almost always switch my iPhone off an on when I come across an issue…not this time though. 😞
Switched off and on, now it works as it should. Where’s that embarrassed emoji? 😳

Thanks for fessing up, and sorry for suggesting a more radical option. I had read your OP too fast and thought you had already tried switching off/on. It's good to know that sometimes the simplest things help - hopefully your experience will help someone else in the future.

Haha beat me to it. One of my favourite episodes is when Roy gets a new mobile phone and Moss increases the vibrate power  :D
