Hi guys and girls , my husband got a parking ticket outside his work from uk parking control limited in 2019 and have now received a claim form from the County Court on the 18th of May. The offence is that he didn't display a valid permit but he was never given a permit and didn't notice the signs as he starts work at 4 am in the dark. Even if he saw the signs he wouldn't of been able to read what they said as the writing is so small .
I have done the first step and got all the details that they hold of the alleged offence. Now I just need to send an AOS but not sure how long I have to do it, is it 14 days from the claim form or 5 days after receiving it plus 14 days ?

It is not an offence.
What is the issue date on the claim form please?
Do the AoS on day 6 from the issue date on the claim form. The CCBC allows 5 days for service (the time allowed for the claim to arrive by post), then the 14 day clock starts ticking on day 6. Doing the AoS within the next 14 days gives 28 days in total to submit a defence.
There is no advantage in delaying the AoS after day 6 from the issue date.
What happened when your husband complained to his employer and the landowner if different?
Has the keeper complained to their MP yet>
You need to get photos of the site and signage taken without flash in the same light conditions as that of the alleged event.

UKPC signs are impossible to read in daytime let alone when it's dark
So tell us ... who is the stupid legal who acts for UKPC... DCBL or QDR ?
AND .... have they added a fake amount of £60-£70 which government has BANNED

You've told us that your husband received a claim form from the County Court on the 18th of May, now can you please tell us the Issue Date on that Claim Form?2

Issue date is 13th of May.
Its QDR solicitors.
They have added £50 legal costs.
My company has paid a few of these after I complained about getting tickets but not this one .
I have not complained to my MP because he is useless , never got a reply the last time .0 -

The ticket was probably £100 so how much are QDR claiming for this ????1 -
TheBiscuit123 said:Issue date is 13th of May.With a Claim Issue Date of 13th May, you have until Wednesday 1st June to file an Acknowledgment of Service but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Wednesday 15th June 2022 to file your Defence. That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.2 -

QDR add £82 and that's the bit that the DLUHC has banned and deemed 'extortion'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
