I wasn't referring to 'compliments' (although to mark a particular post with a 'thanks', just press the 'Thanks' button at the foot of the particular post), I was enquiring about the result of your previous thread from a couple of years ago that petered out with no recorded conclusion. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It could be because I had to pay the default CCJ and to go through the set aside I had to pay a couple of hundred again. I gave up at that point and went into hiding. Apologies again for not recording the conclusion but I guess I was reluctant to admit the failure.
Any chance I can get help with this one?

You weren't meant to pay the default CCJ. When you apply to set aside a CCJ you don't pay it, and most people get their court fee back too, ordered against the Claimant.
Unless you paid it within 30 days of judgment, by paying it you cemented the CCJ affecting your credit for 6 years. A 'satisfied' CCJ is not wiped.
Setting it aside instead of paying it, would have wiped it. This is what our advice was.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
