Where to get good quality wooden curtain poles?

I want to buy and fit some wooden curtain poles for my windows, ranging from about 1m to 2.8m - however, I'm not sure where to get good quality ones that will, potentially, hold up heavy curtains. I only plan on light curtains so far, but I'd like the option.
I've looked at reviews on various sites sites I can't find a manufacture/retailer that sells consistently good ones - I typically find one with average three/four star reviews.
Could anyone recommend a retailer/brand?
