Travel Insurance for Backpacker already in Australia for 2 years traveling to Bali for a holiday

Hi my son is on a working holiday visa in Australia and has been there since early 2020.
While in Australia he is covered by the Medicare system and has no valuable possessions to insure.
He is heading off to Bali in a few days for a 4 week break.
What's the best way to get travel insurance for this trip?
He really only needs medical cover and maybe flight insurance.

While there are companies (World Nomads are often mentioned) who will insure someone for a journey not starting in the UK it is very likely to be cheaper for your son to find cover from an Australian insurer. Presumably he is an adult so you should leave this to him to arrange.

As above, he's (currently) an Australian resident so this doesn't sound like a question relevant to the UK.0
