White spots on new plaster

Just had lots of plastering done. In one room these white spots have appeared in the ceiling. Don’t feel different when I touch them - not salty or powdery or anything. n one

Has a mist coat been applied ?
The spots look very much like splatter, so shouldn't be anything to worry about - You could try wiping over the area with a damp sponge if you are concerned.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Does look like splatter, not necessarily from a mist coat but it could simply a bit of splashback from when the plasterer was cleaning his trowel or applying water to a wall during the final skim/polishing phase.
