We got an ASHP! We love it. Does anyone know if all the gas equipment outside the door can be removed? I'd like to plant in that space. Supplier is too slow to respond.

Have you had your gas supply capped off yet?0

Do have a gas oven and/or hob?
Are you still receiving a gas bill?0 -
Is there still a meter in the box ? I suspect that to get that removed they will want to cap the main in the street rather than leave a live gas pipe under the garden which will come at a cost.

It looks like a lot of effort for a couple of plantsNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill2

The meter is probably the property now of Cadent and they are the ones to remove and cap the mains .Costs a lot of money to get it reinstated though if removed .Standing charges are to be paid if meter left in position I would have thought .
OP contact Cadent Gas , they have a contact number .Messing around with useless suppliers ( except maybe British Gas ) will take ages

Does anyone else think that looks like an electrical box, not a gas one?The outlet looks like flexible conduit, going to a junction box?(I could be completely wrong here!)N. Hampshire, he/him. No. The flexible conduit will be the earth bonding. You can see the 22mm copper gas pipe coming out of the box.1
