In September 21 I moved out of a property at that time I was with igloo energy but the account was passed to eon because of igloo going out of business.
I submitted my final meter reading to igloo and was in credit to the tune of 35 quid.
Eon then proceeded to send me estimated bills for the property I had moved out from.
After about 2 months of emails back and forth I was finally able to sort my final bill out with eon.
Finally Eon sent me my final bill and a refunded my credit plus they sent me compensation for the time lost in dealing with this.
Happy days I thought.

But to my horror my daughter (in the post) has just received a demand from pastdue credit solutions instructed by eon next (or so the letter says) for electric used in March April this year for the sum of £347.00.
When I have tried to contact eon they tell me that I can’t speak to them because this account is under her name?
Eon or someone must created an account in her name without her knowledge? Is this fraudulent?
The pastdue credit solutions letter shows a completely different account number then the original account number used.

I have tried to resolve this with eon but hit a brick wall because eon are now saying my daughter is solely responsible for a fake account created by eon or someone.
any advice would greatly appreciated
