You will find that the old cottage will be colder as it may have solid walls,but will be cosy with a burner.

Has your solicitor spoken to their solicitor to ask for these things? Blocking additional inspections would make me very nervous something worse might be found!!
We had records of our boiler being serviced annually and had a survey and the thing died 6 months after we moved in...6k to replace 😢 then 2 weeks later our oil tank sprang a leak and sprayed oil all over the garden! Another 2k for that to be replaced! I guess even surveys and inspections can't spot everything0 -
