Just logged onto to Gov.uk and checked the progress of this.
The status has now altered and says, being processed, then processing complete.
Checked my bank account as expecting funds to go straight into here, but not there yet. Assume after processing complete there’s another process?
It’s not in my account yet so assume processing complete is not yet quite complete? After processing is complete it goes to payment pending for a few days and then gets paidYou can check the repayment amount/status by logging into your HMRC account, then from the main menu clicking on 'self assessment' and then by clicking on 'view and manage your self assessment', and then clicking on 'more self assessment details' and then clicking on 'repayments' where I'm guessing it will be showing for you as 'repayment pending' but will change to 'bank repayment' when it's paid.I came, I saw, I melted0 -

Is this on the Gov.uk site?
My front page has Account Home, then going across has Latest news and updates, PAYE, then two areas for tax paid, then National Insurance records.
I can’t see an area for Self Assessment if you have any ideas?
Thanks0 -

ThanksThat's the right home screen. The P55 I dealt with was for someone registered for self assessment who fills in a tax return each year, so perhaps there isn't a 'Self assessment' section showing if your tax is normally dealt with through PAYE (?), and so perhaps you can't access the repayment screen I mentioned.HMRC did also send a paper document saying a repayment was due, again that took a few days.
