A very dumb pressure washer question

Buying a pressure washer tomorrow - probably the nilfisk 130 from argos https://www.argos.co.uk/product/9419829
Dumb question, never used a pressure washer before, but am I right in thinking I also need to also buy a seperate hosepipe to attach the machine to my tap? I assume so but in the description it says it has a 6m hose. That just means the length of the hose from the machine to the sprayer gun right?
Told you it was a dumb question!

You are almost certainly right - the 'hose' supplied is just the 'lance' hose, and you'll also need a 'garden' hose to supply the machine with water.Almost certainly...
Be ready to buy a garden hose from Argos too, in case you need it. (Open the box, and see if there's one there)1 -
Yes, you will need a garden hose.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

You'll definitely be needing a garden hose to connect it up to the water supply, I assume you have an outside tap. You'll also need a couple of hose connectors, get the standard hozelock ones, not the aquastop ones, a tap connector with a non return valve if using a pressure washer.
The standard hose on most consumer washers are pretty rubbish, thermoplastic affairs and definitely worth upgrading to a good, 10m reinforced rubber hose which will set you back around £30.1 -
Hi,you don't need an outside tap, I use an expandable hose, attached to my kitchen sink tap and out through window.

Guaranteed you'll need a hosepipe.
If you've got 6.5m on the machine - how far away from the tap do you need to be?
You'll need a hose - but you might also need an extension lead depending on where the power is....1 -
If you're looking at that Nilfisk, it's much cheaper here: https://www.cleanstore.co.uk/products/productslistSub.asp?Main=Domestic-Pressure-Washers&sub=Home-Pressure-Washers

We got 2 of those from Cotton Traders recently. Husband likes their Taylor Slim jeans so stocked up when they were half price.frugalmacdugal said:Hi,you don't need an outside tap, I use an expandable hose, attached to my kitchen sink tap and out through window.
By splitting the order in 2, I qualified for 2 ‘free’ hoses.Very MSE😉0 -
The hose should come with all the connections but it might not have one that connects to an outside tap, ( if you are using one) check before you get home,0
