Hi there,
I've been offered a fixed tarrif from EDF. It's more expensive than my current tarrif and wondered what others thought.
Current tarrif - £297 a month or £3,561 a year - Elec 29.64p / kWh Gas 7.517p / kWh
New fixed tarrif - £368 a month or £4,420 a year - Elec 35.47p / kWh Gas 9.962p / kWh - no change in standing charge
Also to take into account we'll not use as much energy through the summer with no heating and being away on holiday etc. Price hike would come in October
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Adam

Personally the percentage increase is a bit on the high side for me to consider it.

also consider early cancellation charges applicable should cheaper tariffs become available in the next 2 years.0

Thanks both. Are there any estimates about on what the price hike in October might look like?0
