    I have roughly the following

    Cash ISA - currently 0.90% £30K
    Cash Savings - 0.8% £6K
    Fixed Cash ISA expiring September - £10 K @ 1.12%

    Stocks and Shares ISA

    FTSE 100 Index Tracker - £4K
    Vanguard Life Startegy 60 - £4K
An Asian Markets Tracker - £1K  - Mainly Japan, China and India.
You are too heavily weighted in cash.  Your exposure to inflation risk is beyond where I would want to be.

Thing is the Stocks and Shares are going down so loosing money here and on my cash.
No you are not.  Your S&S 'losses' are only crystalized if you cash out.

What the devil am I meant to do!
Assuming that you are making the most of any pension provision, re-balance with a bias towards equities.  At your age and in your position I would also be a little more adventurous in your choices - for example, my Vanguard S&S investments are all in VLS100.

I can only see one atm and I agree completely. Hope it is temporary.

    Thrugelmir as well..........
Thanks. I just saw that a minute before I was notified of your post.

Quite extraordinary considering the continual garbage posted by some without any repercussions.
Both the posters involved, post on quite a few different MSE forums, so may well be unrelated to this one. Who knows ?

This is true, but as @Dunstonh says, neither rarely (if ever) post anything controversial, let alone something that may result in being banned.

Absolutely incredible! 2 of the most consistently accurate & knowledgeable posters banned?
T can be blunt & curt, but never rude. Hope it’s temporary & they don’t decide to leave as a result.

I noticed the other day. There are two others too. Both are respected posters but less prolific than the two mentioned.
All had posted on the same thread when I noticed but not at the same time and may be coincidence.

Very sad to see those 4 banned

To be fair, one of the people in question I did read a few replies on other threads and winced slightly. It getting a tad close to the line on occasions so I'm not completely surprised.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Apologies to OP for continuing the recent digressions on this thread but I just thought I'd say how much I appreciated the kind words in the above posts, gratifying reading during my 'holiday', which is now over!

As the first rule of PPR club is not to talk about PPR club, I'll leave it at that....
